Lego Molecule Kit Project

Donation protected
Hello, I teach 7th grade science at Harden Middle School in Salinas, CA.  This is a Title 1 school, which means most the students at my school are considered socioeconomically disadvantaged. I would like to raise money for a set of Legos that students can use to build 'molecules'.

Each Lego will represent an individual atom in a molecule, such as atmospheric oxygen, water, and glucose.  The Legos will provide a fun, hands on, interactive experience in learning about: How individual atoms bond together to form molecules, the molecular components of photosynthesis and cellular respiration, the law of conservation of mass, and much more.  The best part is that Legos are reuseable and wahsable, so these molecule kits will benefit many many students for years to come!

The cost for a class set of 16 molecule kits is $100... this would allow students to work with a partner when using the kits.  I am trying to raise money for my classes as well as the other three 7th grade science teachers at my school.  This means that your donation will help to provide a fun, hands on learning experience for about 600 students this year alone!!

Thank you so much for your interest in this project! Do not hesitate to post a comment or message me if you have questions/ would like further information on the Lego Molecule Kit project.
