Bruces Road To Recovery
Donation protected
After losing their precious, beloved mother in August of 2015, the Reinhart family has experienced another tragedy. Their father Bruce was amitted to the Walkerton hospital on Friday December 23rd, 2016 due to a diabetic foot ulcer. On Saturday December 24th, Bruce was rushed to the University Hospital in London. Infection in his foot had started taking over his body, causing septic shock. Bruce's kidneys are beginning to fail on him, causing him to become very ill. He was placed on life support to help his body fight infection. After a few days in the hospital, Bruce's vitals were staying steady but the infection was persistent. His girls were placed with decision of amputating his foot, the source of infection. With his foot being amputated, he will need to travel from Mildmay to London for rehabilitation. Healthcare, travel, and losing the family's primary income provider are placing an extreme financial burden on the family at this time.Your donation of any amount is not only appreciated but needed at this time. Thank you.
Words cannot express how grateful we are for the generous, caring community of family and friends that surround us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so very much for all your support. Dad's condition is slowly improving day by day, and he continues to receive dialysis for kidney failure. We know that all the prayers and love from our family friends and the community has made this possible. These donations will go towards the expenses of dad's hospital care and rehab, as well as loss of wages and costs of living. We are overwhelmed by the love that we are being surrounded by. Thank-you, Thank-you, thank-you.

Jan 3rd/17: Hi everyone, just an update on Dad's condition. He was moved from the ICU as he no longer requires life support. However, his kidneys have not started functioning. Dad is currently doing dialysis 3 times a week. Unfortunately he is not ready for visitors yet.
However his future is definitely looking brighter, Dad is still experiencing difficulties talking and eating. We have a long road ahead of us. The love and support from everyone has been incredible, and we are so beyond blessed. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to each and every one of you for you very generous donations love and support. Love the Bruce Faith Hannah and Denay
