Cheetoh was rescued from a puppy mill when she was just 8 weeks old and put into a foster home. I adopted her shortly after and she has been faithfully by my side ever since.
Back in college at the University of Illinois, Cheetoh would sometimes attend class with me and in speech class was even the topic and "prop" for one of my assignments. She even went tailgating with me for the football games.
After college Cheetoh was my only buddy for the 28 hour drive from Illinois to California. She has always watched over me and during this trip even woke me up once when I was falling asleep.
One of Cheetoh's craziest experiences was accompanying me on a 5 week tour all over the U.S. and Canada. She went from Navy Pier in Chicago to Niagra Falls in New York to the Washington Monument in D.C. and everywhere in between with me and the band. She even got to try Maine lobster for the first time!
We've been through a lot now living in Hollywood, but she is always there for me eagerly awaiting my arrival at the door after a bad audition or a 12 hour bartending shift. She lifts my spirit. She is the ideal example of a being that can offer unconditional love. She is my rainbow after any storm.
Cheetoh is an amazing inspiration and pretty much the greatest creature I've ever known. We've been together for four years now and there are many more memories to make... please help make sure Cheetoh can continue living an incredible puppy life...
The Problem :-(
My little puppy princess was diagnosed with severe periodontal gum disease and immediately needs medication and surgery to extract almost ALL of her teeth.
Periodontal gum disease is common in little dogs and basically means her gums are severely infected and make her teeth very sensitive making it hard for her to eat or play and if left untreated can lead to heart and liver disease as well as death.
The vet said surgery needs to happen IMMEDIATELY to avoid any further complications with her health.

I am a 24yr old struggling artist in the entertainment industry currently living in Los Angeles, CA. I bartend nearly every night to support myself as well as doing projects in modeling, music, acting; anything I can do to get by and pursue my dreams. I really need help to make this surgery happen for my little girl before it turns into something even more serious...
How You Can Help Us
Here is the break down of estimated costs:
*Sedation and Surgery= $100 plus $40/tooth up to $1,100 max (which the vet said the max would be reached because nearly every single tooth needs to come out)
*Medication including Infection and Pain Killers= $80
*Misc costs (specialty dog food, follow up check up, ect) = $100
I will also be unable to work during her recovery so I can monitor her and make sure she springs back to the perfect little spry pup that she is...which is why getting help from YOU is so important to us as we are already barely scraping by in this crazy town.
