The Drawbridge Puppet Theater is a privately-owned business that has been providing a unique and humorous brand of professional puppet performances for over 20 years. We have a small fifty-seat theater where we perform public puppets shows and puppet-making workshops, as well as private shows for birthday parties, field trips, and fundraisers. As you can imagine the overhead in running a business is high (rent, electricity, liability insurance, Internet, phone, etc.) and nearly all our funds are taken up in paying these bills.

We have many plans for 2016, and one is the reintroduction of our traveling puppet shows. For most of our existence we were able to offer these, but we've been without a means of transporting our traveling stage for the past three years. What we need is a reliable work van, one which can fit our stage, lighting, puppets, props and other equipment. With a dependable van we could once again bring our shows to schools, libraries, day cares, summer camps and other private and public institutions - and bring a little more joy and laughter to children and adults alike. We hope to purchase the van by May.
