#VanLife - Help Us Get A New Home

The Famous Artist Birdy Rose and Doozer McDooze here.
Nearly 4 years ago, we bought a van and we hit the road to see if we could make a living from being an Artist and a Musician.
For those of you who don't know us, here's some info:
The Famous Artist Birdy Rose is a painter and illustrator. She also designs artwork for bands, paints on mugs and dinner sets, designs T-Shirts and exhibits at Art Gallaries in pop-up shops, Coffee Lounges and at Festivals.

Doozer McDooze is a full time musician. He has played an average of 35 Festivals a year, spreading happiness with his guitar and songs. Last year he released his second Album which was reviewed by R2 Rock N Reel and given a generous 5/5

As some of you know now, our van is coming to the end of its life as our home. We've known this for quite some time, and our efforts to save up extra cash for a new van has been slower than we had anticipated.
We went to look at a second hand van that's come up recently and we think it'll be a perfect new van for the next year or two while we're saving up for something newer. The van is going to cost just under 2 grand to buy. We so far have £700 saved up by ourselves and will continue to put money in our pot as much as we can. However, we will need your help if we want to get the van soon and get a couple repairs done plus start converting it in time for spring festival season.
We recently asked the bank for a loan to buy a new van and we were declined, the reason for the decline wasn't clear. We suspect its because our monthly income is erratic throughout the year... That happens when you work for yourself.
We asked facebook about this, and alot of people suggested a crowd funder. So here it is.
We are also running a campaign on Mercht.com where you can buy the #VanLife T-Shirt that Birdy has designed for this.
This isn't just for a van, it's for our new home, if you can help by ordering a shirt, or some music or art off of me and Birdy that would be amazing.
We love what we do and for the past year our van hasn't been a livable space, it's currently just a bed on wheels, with all our stock (Tshirts, CDs, Prints, Mugs) under the bed. There's no living space or working space.
When we first got the van it was perfect for us because we had nothing. Over the last two years we have become more successful at what we do and therefore need a bigger space if we want to bring merchandise to the gigs and festivals, be able to sleep somewhere comfortable, plus continue to work in the most productive manner that we can.We need a workable, liveable space. We are looking at a Luton Van (box van) and have a our friend El who we will help to convert it into a space where we can live and work and do what we need to. (Fixing and converting vehicles is what EL does for a living and he's really good at it).
We love the life we have been living, and dont want to stop anytime soon.
With your help we can continue with this crazy, amazing journey that we're on.
