Support Jacky and Jeff

Jacky and Jeff are two very endearing 22/21 year old boys from Haiti. They were very fortunate to be allowed to come to the US three months ago to pursue their education at Folsom Lake College (FLC). Unfortunately, a week ago they lost their sponsor and consequently has lost their housing and all of their school funding. I am going to have both of them come live with me and pay for all of their living needs. However, the cost of college in the US is 6x for internationals. This results in a need of $3,300 per semester for each of them, excluding books. They have 2.5 years left. The total for both would be $13,200x2.5= $33,000. A couple problems are- They are not allowed by Haiti to work in the US to help until their first year here is complete. The second problem is I have recently retired 12 years early due to a medical condition so my funds are limited right now to meet all of this need. Beyond all this, Haiti is an extremely poor country and in a very real sense this is probably the only hope for these boys to rise out of poverty and create a better life for themselves and their families. If they are unable to secure this funding, $6,600 each semester for 2.5 years, they will be forced to return to Haiti immediately. This would be heartbreaking and devastating to them. I should add, both of these boys are Christian. I will attest to their kind and gentle hearts, their character and work ethic. They are trusting God so well in this very difficult situation. I have been exposed to many needs in my life and I honestly would say this is the saddest, perhaps most desperate I have come across. I am going to do everything I can to help these boys!
