A Kidney for Michael

Michael Floyd & Jhillian Sahli were living their lives, falling in love, when Michael went in for a physical and basic blood work.  He never expected a call telling him that his kidneys were shutting down and he needed to go straight to the hospital.  After 11 days in the hospital a port in his chest,  and later more surgery.... In disbelief, they found out that both of Michael's kidneys had failed and he needed to be on dialysis right away.   

Michael never looked sick and still doesn't.   This last year has proven however that he is sick and without a kidney transplant is doomed to a life of painful dialysis 3 times a week 4 hours a day plus over 30 pills every day.    Being just shy of 30 with no prior health issues, this news was devastating!

Well, Michael & Jhillian aren't just a match made in Heaven...they are a match made in medicine as well.   

After months of testing and questioning and planning, Jhillian will give Michael one of her kidneys in Tampa.   In order to do this, however, they will have to move their family (7) to Tampa for a month...leave jobs, move in with family afterward and struggle to meet day to day expenses.

Fundraisers will be planned but time is of the essence and funds need to start to be collected.   Please donate whatever you can...even $5 will make a difference if enough people participate....
