Sean Barger Cancer Treatment & Help

Sean was diagnosed in late April 2017 with Stage 4 Metastatic Prostate Cancer. It had already spread to his bones, back and lymph nodes and severly damaged his kidneys by the time he learned of his illness. Sean has been getting treated for his prostate cancer at Cedars Sinai hospital and was in and out of the hospital all year fighting the good fight. Sean finished Chemotherapy in November and has slowly been recovering from Chemo, surgeries and procedures including a botched surgery near the end of last year that really hurt him... Since finishing chemo Sean has learned that the Cancer while diminished is still there and if not eradicated will likely kill him at asome point in the next few years. Sean is still continuing treatment, but the only treatment available to him at the moment with US based western medicine is a hormone treatment that merely supresses the cancer and tries to keep it at it's current beaten down by chemo levels... Sean does not want to sit back and do nothing hoping that the US approves treatments that may cure his cancer in the next few years before the cancer gets him... he wants to fight! There is a treatment that is currently approved in Germany that shows great promise and may help him beat the cancer. This treatment is not currwntly available in the US and is however availabnle in Germany. The Treatment and expenses while being treated should run about $25,000. So we are currently trying to raise the money to get him treated in Germany and to live in the meantime and cover day to day expenses as he has been to sick to work his regular computer related job. We hope that his extensive network of friends can help to contribute money to ease his burden. Cancer is very expensive to fight and Sean wants to keep on fighting and stay here with us.
