Love Not Hate Summer Block Party

Tax deductible
Last winter, the "Love Not Hate" event in Whitefish -- co-sponsored by Love Lives Here and the Montana Human Rights Network -- brought hundreds of Montanans together in a celebration of diversity and  a stand against oppression despite bitter cold temperatures.  With the recent attacks of neo-nazi trolls on the town of Whitefish, as well as the activities of local white nationalist hate groups, we know that our work is not done.  We will continue to build an accepting and inclusive community here in the Flathead Valley with a second event -- the "Love Not Hate Summer Block Party"!

The "Summer Block Party" will take place on August 19 at the Coop in Columbia Falls from 4-9 p.m.  This event will feature live music from local bands, cultural performances and talks by diverse Montana leaders.  There will also be local food trucks and beverages for attendees to enjoy, as well activities for children.

An event on this scale comes with significant costs, such as purchasing event insurance, paying our musicians, costs related to the venue, travel reimbursements, etc. The "Love Not Hate Summer Block Party" could be an amazing event, but we need your help to make it happen.

Please join us, along with Love Lives Here, in fighting racism in rural Montana and promoting acceptance and unity.  Support of any amount is welcome, and your donation is tax-deductible.  We hope to see you on August 19!
