Help Roger Get A Car To Regain His Independence

Alright everyone! I’m home, I’m comfortable and I still have a tad bit of healing to do. But my goodness look at the difference. I was so close to death it’s not even funny. The doctors believed and I was feeling it, that I had less than a month left if I didn’t get the surgery.

I know the devil has been trying to kill me for many years and how close I’ve come and yet I am still alive, is nothing short of a miracle. I firmly believe that God wants to use my story to not only inspire but also to show and lead people to taste and see how good our God really is. He is an amazing Father who loves his kids and wants what’s best for us all.

When I wrecked the 4-wheeler 60ft off a cliff, I begged God as I was bleeding out and holding my eyes open with my fingertips to please not let me die. The doctors told my wife it was doubtful I would survive BUT God heard my plea to live and blessed me with the opportunity to continue my life.

When I battled a bone infection for 16 years with massive bedsores on my behind until my spine was exposed and the infection was slowly taking my life, I begged God to not let me die. When I went into what would be a 12-hour surgery being warned 4 times that there was a good possibility of me dying on the operating table, I begged God to not let me die.

I then amazed doctors with how quickly I woke up and recovered from surgery. I amazed doctors with how quickly I got out of the ICU and amazed doctors with how quickly I was healing and putting my weight back on. My entire time in recovery I had the privilege to testify about who God was to me and explain that I wasn't the amazing one. It was Jesus in me through the Holy Spirit who was doing all the work enabling me to survive and thrive in recovery.

So Lord thank you and thank all of you who pray for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. God heard our cries and has allowed me to live so that I may continue my number one desire which is to glorify God.

So I’m home and still have a long road ahead of me. There are many things I will need and many things I will have to relearn as I navigate life with my health intact minus the lower half of my body. If anyone has a desire to contribute to what God is doing it would be a true blessing to receive some extra financial support. I’m going to do my best to pursue income as soon as I feel my body can fully handle it.

my next step is getting a vehicle so I can regain my full independence. I have not been at this level of independence in almost 20 years.
