Miss New Jersey USA 2018

I was just another kid from Newark with big dreams and aspirations. The daughter to two hard working parents who migrated to this country, that promised endless opportunities.  My dad worked long hours, seven days a week to make ends meet and provide for his family. Through his sacrifes I learned the value or hard work, persistance, and dedication.  Being Miss New Jersey USA would offer me the opportunity to reach and inspire kids from all over the world; kids from inner cities who feel like they will never amount to much due to the lack of resources, support, and positive role models. The crown is a symbol of HOPE and DREAMS. It represents every young girl and boy and their aspirations. A crown that stands for resilence and diligence. 

For the past three years I have had the chance to grow as a strong and independent woman thanks to the MUO organization. I have had the blessing to place in the top 5 two years in a row. I am forever thankful for the love and support of my friends and family. Let bring home the crown!
