Bring an XFL Team to Dayton OHIO
Donation protected
Are you excited about the recent news that the XFL is coming back?!?
We are right there with you and we want to bring a team to Dayton, OH. We are seeking funds to rent 3-5 billboards in the Dayton/Cincinnati/Columbus area to raise awareness of our initiative. By doing so, we hope to get a movement started where the nation pays attention to our request. If successful, we hope to either get an audience with XFL CEO Vince McMahon, or raise enough interest that the XFL simply decides to move a team to Dayton.
It is our hope to bring the one and only Dayton Triangles back from the dead. The Dayton Triangles were a charter member of the NFL and participated in the first ever NFL game. The Dayton Triangles have a storied history in Dayton as well as the NFL. Let’s work together to bring them back and take over the XFL!
Here's the plan:
We get funding for either one static billboard or several digital billboards for the Dayton area. With more attention on the Triangles possible return, we will begin marketing the Triangles XFL team around southwest Ohio. The goal is to pursue two paths; get local lobbyists to help us get the XFL's attention, and to possibly get a meeting with Vince McMahon, where we can explain why this is a great idea.
Do you need more convincing that Dayton is the right market?
The Dayton Dragons minor league baseball team has sold out 1,246 games in a row. The Dragons play roughly 70 home games a year and sell out all of them. The XFL will only require 5 home games per season. Dayton is ready. Let’s bring the XFL to Dayton!!!
