E-Jayy DeVaughn made history by being the first black boy from Compton, California to be accepted to Harvard University. When he was accepted, his mother, Sherree, launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the expenses. Neither of them had any idea that E-Jayy would eventually be addressing hundreds of young people in the community at his very own lecture circuit, inspiring them to go after their dreams as well.

Listen to E-Jayy’s inspiring interview on the True Stories of Good People podcast, a GoFundMe Heroes production.
