Cancer Treatment for Pop Pop Bobb
Kenneth Bobb Sr. was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Oropharyngealsquamous cell carcinomas (OPSCC) in his neck and head after a tumor appeared out of nowhere and started increasing rapidly in size on the side of his neck. He has undergone an MRI and it was discovered that the cancer was spread throughout his neck, head and throat. The doctors think that he could have a good chance at recovery, but they have now determined it is stage IV and not present anywhere else in his body. He will definitely have to undergo radiation and it's unclear what else.
He has worked paycheck to paycheck his entire life and his family is struggling to make ends meet. The costs for cancer diagnosis and treatment are already making it difficult for them to stay afloat and I worry that they might not be able to afford the treatment he needs. He will have to go out on disability and will only be making 60% of what he usually earns, which is barely enough to get by.
Ken is a loving Pop Pop to two little girls, who bring true joy to his life, and he wants nothing more to stick around to see them grow up. He also has a loving wife, son and daughter-in-law, Wendy, Kenn Jr. and Jennifer. We all wish to see him make a speedy recovery and spend many more years with us.
