Curtishia Poythress - Kids Fund

On Sunday, April 23th Curtishia Poythress was tragically taken from this life by her husband who she had been separated from for quite some time. Curtishia left behind two beautiful children who will now be cared for by their grandparents. Curtishia was so many different things. She was a great daughter who her mom calls “my planner – my doer”. She was a daughter that loved to spend time with her dad when he was in town, she would have things planned for every minute of the hour to make the best of it. She was a stepdaughter that threw great birthday parties to put a smile on her step dad’s face. She was an auntie that mentored, loved, and cherished her beautiful niece. She was a committed friend who made you wish that you had her spirit and demeanor. She was an employee to look up to and was successful at every job she held. Her sense of humor was contagious. Her desire to help people in need was unmeasurable. 

Most importantly she was a great mother. She was a very involved mother who never missed a moment of her children’s lives. She ensured her kids were taken care of no matter what sacrifices that meant she had to make. She planned for their futures and set high standards for them to reach for. To continue this goal of helping her children succeed in life, we are asking for your support in raising funds for the continuous care of her two daughters.
