Hi folks, my name is Lawrence Haynes and I'm a disabled veteran (Vietnam Era.Navy). I'm on the north side of sixty-three. It seems about eighteen years ago a fine lady decides she's up to the job of civilizing me (hard job), so we married Jan. 1, 1999, figured if i forgot that i'd know how that year was gonna end. And its been amazing. I'm so blessed there.

I started my lawn service back up this spring (one man operation.) It's the first time since 2006 that we don't have chemo therapy hanging over our heads, its been hard on my wife. In late 2015 I was pronounced done...except for a few minor problems left over from ten years of off and on again chemo,.. such as progressive degenerative osteo arthritis . This means that from 2014 to 2015 I shrank 3 inches in height (meaning collapseing vertabrae) and lost 40 pounds, not too bad a trade off. Health issues keep popping up like popcorn, just to remind me they're still here.

Which brings us to why we need help from our fellow Americans. In the last week of March 2016 I fell in the yard and had to crawl to the house. Well thanks to p.t. and orneryness I was able to walk around a bit by the first week of June. By that time we were way behind on our bills, but I thought I was all that and some change and could single handedly handle this, I was better, after all. Well I was way wrong. My ego was the problem and my denial kept me from seeing we needed help a while back . Now I had no clue as to how to ask for help. You see, I forgot that humility is if you need help, throw pride out; and ask good people for help. I'm not tek savvy. I'm a man who hunts and fishes. The mess I've made of my Google Plus account is evidence of my bad tek skills.

I was told about the Go Fund Me people by some friends so here we are. The go fund me folks wished to know our goals, so my wife and I figured out how much we needed to get caught up and survive till April. (In Kentucky the grass is going wild by april .) We figure it will take five thousand dollars , two thuosand to catch up, and the rest will by grace get us  Nov. thru March or we lose everything. Also a friend is helping with applying for social security this spring when I turn sixty four with the help of good people, kind Americans.

Sometimes its so easy to forget that ninty five percent of all peoples are good and caring folk. We have no way to express the gratitude and thanks, to the go fund me people nor folks who help. We all need each other or stuff just don't, won't, can't work. Thank you all again!

May God Bless Us All, and God Bless the  Preamble.
