What's good everybody ? 

I'm really excited to announce today that I've finally achieved one of my lifetime goals in starting my own philanthropic organization. Along with the help, of my brothers and sisters ,of the Columbus Ghanaian SDA church we have put together this soon to be great organization,The Golden Touch Foundation. As a foundation, our  basic aim is too ensure that the less endowed schools in Ghana, specifically Basic and Junior high schools, are exposed to a proper and fully equipped educational environment. In order for us to do so, we must ensure that these less endowed schools are equipped with the necessary facilities and resources (proper libraries, bathroom facilities, school supplies, etc). 

The pictures seen below were taken at a Basic and Junior high government school located in Kumasi, Ghana. As you can see the general condition of the school can be best described as poor. The situation of this school is a sad one. Not only is it a government school receiving little to no government help, It is also situated in an area of Kumasi where many well off individuals reside and booming businesses operate but , as you can see , the neglect is real. I spoke to the headmistress of the school and she told me they had sent out letters to various government bodies and have yet to receive help. What really got to me was when she told me that a lot of the kids there are only there for the one meal a day the government provides them with, and even with that it is not every student who qualifies. We need your help in making this a better school, whether you’re donating or sharing this page !
