Don McCann Support Fund

Our dad, Don, was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year and has recently been discharged from hospital having stopped his treatment. He, and we, would much rather that he spends his time at home in Artane instead of in a nursing home. He will need significant carer support every day in order to stay at home and unfortunately, home nursing care in Dublin is expensive and difficult to get. We are holding a fundraising party on July 28th in Parnell’s GAA Club, Coolock, Dublin 5 where there will be entertainment for the children during the day followed by live music and an auction. All funds raised on the day will be used exclusively towards the cost of home care for Dad. A lot of you have kindly asked how you can help and we have set up this page in order for people who can’t come on the day but who wish to donate. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
