Elite Gymnastics Forced To Relocate

Elite Gymnastics Academy, located on Work Street for almost 12 years, has been impacted by the City of Salinas and the property owner's decision to permit a medical marijuana organization to occupy Elite’s training facility, forcing the Academy to relocate.

Concerned parents and interested Community members have created this GoFundMe site to help Elite Gymnastics Academy with unexpected expenses to relocate.

Kelly Bradford, owner of Elite Gymnastics Academy, has provided gymnastics training for children in the Salinas community for nearly 25 years and her dedication to our youth has made the City's decision difficult for her to understand.

Gymnastics is one of the most comprehensive programs available to our youth incorporating strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and discipline.


Kelly has vowed to continue the Academy and has been working very hard to relocate within our community.  She currently has a tentative location in the community and is seeking the required City permit to move forward with the new location.  
Relocation Costs Known At This Time: 
City of Salinas Fees:            $45,000.00
(Conditional Use Permit, Traffic Impact fee, etc)
Engineering Assessment:    $4,000.00

Additional "Unknown" Costs At This Time: 
Estimated to be about $30,000.00  
(Including but not limited to, breakdown and reset of gym equipment and offices; hardware & materials; utility deposits and set-up)
