Once you set up you fundraiser, you can add team members to your GoFundMe to help you.
How do I set up a fundraiser so that someone else receives the money?
Once you set up the fundraiser, you can invite the person or organization to set up bank transfers so they will receive the money directly. Learn more about inviting the person you are fundraising for to receive funds.
What details should I include in my sports fundraiser?
Include details about what you’re fundraising for and an estimate of the costs. For example, if you are fundraising for new uniforms and tournament fees, you might list that uniforms cost around $600 and tournament fees cost $2,000.
Can I raise my goal if I the financial needs increase?
Yes, you can raise (or lower) your fundraising goal at any time.
How long will it take to receive the money raised?
The process of setting up and verifying transfers can take 3-7 business days or longer to complete. Then, once your first transfer is sent, it will take on average 2-5 business days for the funds to safely be deposited into the bank account on file.
How much of the money will I keep?

Can I (or my team) raise money for a charity?
Yes, you can fundraise for a charity or nonprofit you care about by selecting “Charity” when prompted to select who you are fundraising for in your GoFundMe setup.

We recommend using the full name of the team person fundraising for in the title. For example, “Help the Vancouver u10 All-Stars Get to the championships”
