Save Moonlight

Back in April of this year we found out our cat Moonlight had bladder stones that couldn’t dissolve on their own and would need immediate surgery to remove. She had the surgery and we thought everything would be okay from there but because of how inflamed and thick her bladder had become it ruptured twice after that resulting in two emergency surgeries to try to save her life. After the last surgery Moonlight was in high dependency needing to be on a range of medications and fed through her a tube in her neck for a number of weeks. Throughout this I hadn’t been told my insurance amount of four thousand pounds for her bladder had maxed out and before I knew it the bill was at just over eight thousand pounds. Moonlight now has a chronic bladder condition that she will need frequent scans and tests for to insure stones do not come back, Something I just can’t afford on top off trying to pay off the current bills. I’ve been told in the last couple of days to put her down if I cannot afford to have a cat with a chronic condition which has absolutely shocked and devastated me. She has come through so much and vets are amazed she’s still here, doing so well and back to her normal self
