House homeless children
Donation protected
Our project under a new name: www.journeyhomefoundation.com remains the same.
We want to house America's 2.5 million homeless kids. Kids who never get to lay on their beds, never get a home cooked meal and have no safe place to be. These kids need us to see them.
So we build them homes. We take virtually new donated buses from school districts and convert them to beautiful 240 square foot homes with full kitchens, bathroom and sleeping quarters. They're heated, cozy and full of light.
Our first family has been housed for a year and two other homes are in construction. But we need YOUR help. Without you this dream goes dormant.
Please donate today because every child needs a safe place to be.
Each bus is roughly 240 square feet and our builders are always looking for ways to innovate with the space and use the greenest materials they can.
The more you donate, the more we build and the sooner we get kids and families off the streets and out of the back seat of a car.
