2022 Bloom Syndrome Conference

Tax deductible
Update (February 2022) - Third time's the charm? The 2022 conference is ON! Thank you all for your support !

Update to the Update (March 2021) - who would have thought we'd still be in this position a year later?! We will be postponing for one more year (until 2022). Keep an eye out on the BSA website for webinars this year to  replace the in-person conference, and we will announce more information on the in-person conference later this year!

Update (March 2020) - unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to postpone the conference until next year (2021). Your funds will still be used for the conference and we appreciate all your support! Stay safe and healthy!

Please join us in making a difference!

We're raising money in order to support the 2020 Bloom Syndrome Conference .

In 2018, the Bloom's Syndrome Association  and the Bloom's Syndrome Registry  co-hosted the first Bloom syndrome-specific conference in 10 years. Over 60 people representing 19 affected families and Bloom syndrome researchers attended the 2018 conference to discuss the latest research and medical recommendations, and to share experiences. Through generous donations, we were able to provide registration and meals at no cost to attendees.

Having an ultra-rare disease is hard for both individuals affected and their families. The opportunity to meet and interact with others who are ‘just like us’ is an invaluable opportunity...one that would not be attainable without conferences like these. Your donation will help make that opportunity a reality for many families.

This year, we hope to increase attendance and to be able to provide free registration and meals so that we can make the conference affordable for families from around the world to attend. Thank you for your support!
