2024 Summer Racing

Thank you for your interest in my racing schedule for the upcoming 2024 season! The ultimate goal of the season is to secure a podium spot in the lightweight single (LW1x) at the World Rowing Championships in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, in August of this year. To accomplish this goal, there are several crucial steps to take between now and then. In the US this year, I have already achieved notable results, including winning the B Final at Winter Speed Order, and placing 4th at the Olympic Trial, both in the Women's Open 1x category. Now, I am gearing up to test my skills at the international level.

This summer, I will embark on a European racing tour, starting with World Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland, May 24-26th. While it is the second of 3 World Cup races, Lucerne boasts the deepest tradition for top competition.

Following that, I will make my way to the Netherlands to train and compete in the Holland-Becker Regatta in Amsterdam, June 1-2nd. I'll conclude my European circuit at World Cup III in Poznan, Poland, June 14-16th. These races will serve as an invaluable opportunity to gauge my performance against other lightweight women before meeting them at the World Championships.

Upon completing World Cup III, I will return to the US to participate in the US National Team Trials, July 5-7th. The victor earns the right to represent the US at the World Champships.

Pursuing rowing at the elite level is financially challenging in the lightweight single, as the category is not funded by USRowing. Therefore, all travel, accommodations, equipment rental, and entry fees are self funded.
