I started off in Texas where I had planned to get my own apartment after my lease, but the pandemic began and my hours got cut. I’ve been living in a very small town with my partner where there is no public transportation and minimum wage is around $8. I was out of work for 8 months because it was a struggle to find a job that worked around my partners tight work schedule, who’s the only one with a car and works an hour away. I got a job in November at Mcd*n*ld’s and hardly a month in got sick, and because my job was so poor with handling the pandemic and being sanitary I wanted to get tested for covid just to be sure because I was showing a few symptoms. when I called my department manager the day before to let her know what was going on and how I could not come in until I found out what my results were, she told me about how when she was exposed to covid and when she needed to get tested they made her come in for her shift that night. she called me back after speaking to our general manger who told me I needed to come in. this was the last straw and i quit the only job I was able to get during an 8 month span. fast forward and I am planing on moving back in with my mother for 3-4 months to find job in a city with public transportation. my mother was very abusive raising me and when I first moved out I cut her off for a year but during the pandemic she had been helping me with $50 a month and recently stopped. I have no choice but to move back in with her in order to save up and move so I can get a place ASAP in a city with public transportation and where it’s easy for me to get and keep a job. I need help with funds to move. Plane ticket, Transportation, Baggage,Groceries (until I get a job. I won’t have access to her food),Bills, Comforter, Sheets, Pillows, and Bathroom Essentials (soap, toothpaste, body washing tool, etc). I’ve been living with my partner so there are things we shared that I need of my own. I’m planning on moving this month ASAP. Please I really need your help right now. Anything at all would be a blessing. Thank you IMPORTANT UPDATE: I thought it was important to leave the description of my previous situation, but I have just been informed that I won’t be able to move back in with my mom, even temporarily. I’m raising my goal so that I can save up to pay off my credit card debt and attempt to find a low income studio apartment in the city where i’m able to get around on my own. These funds will be covering all my moving expenses.
