FIP positive FLASH needs you to help save her !

7 days ago. I found one of the rescue cats I’ve been helping, in respiratory distress. Messaged the vet and went to emergency. X-rays and a fluid draw shoe straw coloured fluid. 140 ml removed. I already knew what it meant. FIP. Plan was to go home and prepare to say goodbye - as she was ‘stable’ and then return to euthanize next day or two. I went home and started researching. There are many FIP groups that have shown improvement with experimental drugs - Phoenix and Mutian being two of them. I talked to a rep and $2000 vs $7000 costs - I chose to go with Phoenix. Flash needs one vile every four days - two viles with shipping is $255.00. She has had 3 injections so far, so it’s time to order the next batch. I could order all 12 weeks worth at once and save all the shipping - but money is tight so for now it’s as needed. I did start a FB fundraiser but I’m transferring it to a Go fund me. Much easier for offline donations that way too. I’m headed to vets this morning so will update more later today in comments, posting her history since I helped 61 cats out of a horrible farm situation. Flash is also FIV positive - but we won’t let them stop us from trying and fighting for her !
