Donnie Martini Memorial Expenses

Donation protected
Donnie became ill & was hospitalized in February, 2020.  During this extended illness he was put on dialysis. While he was off work due to the prolonged illness, his employer of 10 years closed their doors.  This left him unemployed.  He was left jobless, without health insurance & without life insurance.  This illness caused him to become partially blind due to diabetic retinopathy & unable to work.

Over the past several months Donnie went through several retinal procedures along with dealing with his diabetes on a daily basis. This took a toll on him but he was a fighter.  During the early morning of Friday, January 22 Donnie fell ill at home. This led him to being hospitalized & on life support.  Donnie was called home on the evening of Thursday, January 28th.

Donnie loved his family more than anything & would go out of his way to make sure they were happy & taken care of.  There won’t be a day that goes by that he won’t be terribly missed by all. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years Tammy, 2 daughters Jamie (Dave) Shillinger & Kristi Martini and 3 granddaughters Curtlyn, Caedyn & Carsyn.

Please consider donating to help with Donnie’s final expenses & memorial service. Every little bit is very much appreciated!  Any funds leftover will go to the family to help offset expenses.

Donations can also be made at any Civista Bank location (Donnie Martini Memorial Fund, Jamie Shillinger).

Thank you,
