Help BRANDON LITTLEJOHN Get Back on his Feet
Donation protected
Hello. I’m Brandon Littlejohn’s Mom. I’ve created this GoFundMe account to help Brandon after a horrific auto accident that has left Brandon with SEVERE & devastating injuries.
On June 2, 2021 Brandon was hit head-on in a very serious accident when another car crossed into his lane. Brandon has unfortunately received FOREVER LIFE ALTERING injuries to his lower extremities that will impact his health & future abilities indefinitely.
We have been told by all of the Professionals that were at the scene of the fatal accident, that they have no explanation of how it is possible that Brandon survived.
I can’t say Thank You enough to all of the Medics, numerous Fire Departments and Police Departments and the State Police that arrived on scene and literally saved my Son’s life!! This is truly every Parents nightmare.
Brandon spent over 2 weeks in the Trauma Unit at Albany Medical Center. He was recently transferred by ambulance to a Nursing Home/Rehabilitation Center approximately one hour each way from our home. Minimal rehab has begun to try to help Brandon regain his strength as his physical injuries slowly heal. As time passes, PT & OT will be increased based on his abilities.
Unfortunately, we just learned this week that Brandon will not be able to even begin movement of his feet for many months from now, at the very earliest. Additional surgeries are necessary & inevitable.
One of his Surgeons that we saw this week told us that the injuries to Brandon’s feet are extremely severe & that the recovery will be very difficult for Brandon. He told Brandon that sadly, the devastating damage to both of his feet will impact his future forever. This is very difficult for a 26 year old (formerly healthy young man) to accept, especially when he was exceeding his life goals in every aspect prior to this horrible crash that nearly took his life.
Brandon is an Electrician and there is no indication that Brandon will resume his life as he knew it - in any capacity - for a very long time. Medically, physically & financially Brandon has many obstacles to withstand & try to overcome.
Brandon is determined to “Get back on his feet someday” and that can happen with your help !!!
WE NEED YOUR HELP !! Please consider helping Brandon. We have been informed that Brandon will need long term Medical needs. The following is a list of things that Brandon may need help with financially.
Once insurance runs out (which we can’t comprehend how that is possible due to the circumstances), then monies will be needed for out of pocket costs.
Lastly, we can’t even begin to Thank everyone for all of the wonderful thoughts & prayers that have been given to Brandon & our family. Thank you to all that have sent cards & special gifts and well wishes to Brandon. He is filled with gratitude.
Many photos and videos of the crash scene that were filmed by various News stations & reporters are visible on line from the June 2, 2021 crash site on River Road in Selkirk, NY.
Thank you for reading Brandon’s story & for helping him to someday walk again and adapt to his new life.

- Long term Rehabilitation - We have been informed that his Insurance has various limitations that will prevent him from the needed medical care.
- Extensive PT & OT
- Continued Sub-acute care
- Acute Care- prayers for in-patient care when he finally gets to that point.
- Transportation costs - medical transport only is absolutely necessary for an indefinite time period.
- Future surgeries & additional rehab
- After In-patient care, then at home care will be necessary for a long term capacity
- Funds will be needed for daily living expenses based on Disability payment limitations
- Home modifications and construction will definitely be necessary to make everything handicapped accessible.
- Funds for necessary Medical equipment. Not everything needed will be approved &/or covered by insurance.
Once insurance runs out (which we can’t comprehend how that is possible due to the circumstances), then monies will be needed for out of pocket costs.
