I just thought that I owe everyone an update - and maybe for a little assistance .

I had no idea that there was a certain amount of funds in ur state disability account . The state has put me down as disabled for a year - but when those funds run out - then u have to apply for Federal Disability . And zero notification. 

Things are getting better - but like i tell those who  ask i feel ‘ like a rabbit riding on a turtles back ‘ I want to go go go - but my body says SLOW DOWN . So i listen .

At this point I’m just a little past my 3 month mark of recovery - it’s been one word - DAUNTING . Radiation near the ENT area burns out the salivary glands - so I’ll be dry in the mouth ( some call it Mojave Mouth ) for a year if not longer . This effects solid food - so anytime i try to eat anything solid - the food in my mouth turns to a gross consistency that is glue like and pasty . Not fun - and everyone I know, knows how much i enjoy a meal - this is very difficult mentally - so - i choose to keep mind off of it . 

The way I’m able to’ eat ‘ is via liquid nutrition through my feeding tube ( this is how i take my medication also ) and this i must stick to an every 3 hour 5xs a day schedule . Again - DAUNTING . 

One day this awful disgusting feeling in my mouth will go away and then i can get rid of this tube and go back to work - cause at this point who is gonna hire me when every 3 hours i need to do my feeding tube process ? This is not conducive to a job in the restaurant business .   

I have wonderful close friends and family, but I can’t put all the burden on them for my support and care.    

Many of you know me personally, and know how difficult it is for me to ask for help, but I do really need it. Thanks for reading this.
