As the planting season begins again, the dedicated team at Billion Trees Uganda, led by eco-warrior Atwongyeire Joseph, is working tirelessly to maximize their impact. This initiative aims to reforest part of western Uganda by planting one million trees, a critical step in our fight against climate change.

Why We Need Your Help Now

The rainy season is coming, and we urgently need funding to proceed with our project proposal. They need to begin "pitting" for the new trees, a process where they dig holes and let them fill with water before planting. This preparation is essential for the successful growth of the trees.

What We Need

30 Hoes: Essential tools for digging the pits for the new trees.

30 Rain Coats: To protect our volunteers from the elements as they work through the rainy season.

Transportation: To facilitate the movement of volunteers to different planting sites.
