David W Burgess has been a minister for thirty years and has always given of himself of
all that he has come in contact with, never hesitant with his heart, time or money. It has been his heart to give . Now, he needs help. He recently had heart problems and was lost twice on the table because of a heart procedure going bad. He had one heart attack and then another massive attack during the med flight. Thankfully, after finishing the procedure and a stay in ICU, he is recuperating but with only 40% function of his heart. He has incurred hospital bills and a med flight bill, which was $35,000 alone. Because of a pre-existing condition, he cannot afford the so-called Affordable Care insurance. Only weeks later his wife, Shirley, had a massive stroke severely limiting her speech and motor function. He has not yet been released to go back and now has the additional responsibility to care for Shirley during her therapy visits and long road to recovery.  He has not been able to maintain rent, utilities, food, medicine and other necessaties of life. He used his savings only a few months ago to move in order to provide a better future for his family, friends and those that needed help.
