Alice Springs Heart Of Australia Mission Trip

Greetings

My Name is Josh Grimmett.

I'm very excited to be part of a team of 12 students from Glow College at Glow Church, on the Gold Coast Australia, who are going on a mission trip to the heart of Australia, Alice Springs. Our travel dates are the 5th to the 13th September.

Our Vision

For people to grow closer to Jesus through service that promotes long-term community relationships.

Our Mission

To support others through community service experiences that transform lives through love.

Our Partners

We will be partnering with a local church called Desert Life for their Let's Help Day on Saturday 10th of September. Desert Life Church forms multiple teams that assist a variety of service based community organisations in Alice Springs. We are looking forward to joining these teams on this special day.

We will also be joining a local education organisation that helps disadvantaged children create a better future. We will be joining Alice Springs Anglican Church for a worship night on Thurs 8th September, and the Desert life Sunday worship team for their Sunday services. We look forward to assisting this outback Australian community with much needed outreach.

We would love for you to partner with our team/mission in any financial way you can. We believe God is a God of abundance and wants to bless not only the team of students going to Alice Springs to participate, but He wants to bless you also for your contribution along with every person, family and community that we can reach out to and show Jesus’ love to.

A verse that we are holding in our hearts for this trip is 2 Corinthians 9:11. “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”
