Homeless Couple In Utah need Help
Warm Greetings. We are a Couple in Utah, 49 & 51 years old, who have been together for 28 years. We are loving guys who have been raised with the important values of honesty, integrity, charity, friendship, the golden rule, and the gift of empathy throughout our lives. Now we are fighting for our own.
2016 & 2017 have brought many consecutive & concurrent devastating blows to us personally. The death of my mother in December 2016, loss of residence by a greedy landlord, lack of & then loss of jobs, a failed out-of-state career, and having to give up our only car as transportation.
We are currently very lucky to have a place to stay for a couple months to fight off being on the streets, 40 miles away from our old life. We are very lucky & grateful to these two amazing friends who have opened their home to us.
We have never had to face the extreme situation of being homeless ever in our lives, and are humbly asking for help for the bare basics. Any help would be a tremendous godsend for us while we struggle to recover.
All donations will only go for critical needs: Keeping basic cellphone service active for employment & emotional support, generic life sustaining Rx (cheap at Costco), food, storage payment to save our memories & photos in a storage facility, laundromat, and especially transportation to upcoming Temp jobs that are 2 miles away (bus pass, used bicycle, or maybe even a beater car)
We are not looking for handouts for frivolous things whatsoever, just financial help for the bare basics of survival. We have always been generous guys who have given to others & charities through the years, and it is beyond humbling for us to have to ask for help.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration. We have hope for better days, and we are fighting like hell to get through the worst time in our lives.
