Help bring Mum back home

Our beloved, Sipiwe Saimon gained her angel wings on Sunday 23 June 2024. Sipiwe was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her husband Simon and 3 children, Neville, Chantelle & Nicole.

Sipiwe dedicated her life to helping, giving, and providing - not only to her family, but her friends, colleagues, and the community. She was a compassionate, loving, and caring person.

When the Saimon family moved to Australia in 2008, Sipiwe found herself wanting to care for others by working in aged care and disability support facilities. They lived in various cities from Newcastle (NSW), Darwin (NT) and Sydney (NSW) and had met so many people who became family and close friends.

One of Sipiwe’s wishes was to be buried back home in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. We are all so devastated by Sipiwe’s loss and were not prepared for the costs of celebrating her life back home. We want to give Sipiwe the memorial she deserves, to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes.

I am hoping that creating this fundraising page allows for any donations to help us take our mum home. We are so blessed to have a community who have already given their love and support during this difficult time. It is truely appreciated.
