Running & Swimming for a cause

Hi, my name is Ahmed, and I'm embarking on a mission close to my heart. Several years ago, my world was turned upside down when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Our lives were suddenly filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless hospital visits. But amidst the darkness, we found strength, hope, and the unwavering determination to fight.

The journey from diagnosis to treatment was filled with highs and lows. We faced the harsh realities of chemotherapy, surgeries, and endless doctor appointments.

There were moments when we felt overwhelmed and defeated, but through it all, we clung to each other and refused to lose sight of the light at the end of the tunnel.

My wife's battle with cancer ignited a fire within me, a burning desire to make a difference and support others facing similar challenges. Her resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit inspired me to take action. I knew I had to do something meaningful to honor her strength and the countless others affected by this disease.

That's why I've decided to push my limits and take on this challenge: a 20k run & 10k swim. These physical challenges pale in comparison to the battles fought by cancer patients every day, but they symbolize my commitment to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support.
