Help Allison from Legacy Greens

Allison Waite is the Manager at Legacy Greens and has made Downtown Kitchener her home for the past 15 years. Her family recently experienced a devasting fire at her home in Downtown Kitchener (along with five other tenants who lived in a beautiful historic building on the corner of Benton and St. George).

Without tenant's insurance, Allison and her two children have been displaced, and we're looking to the community to help support them in this challenging time!

Fortunately, her family has secured some short-term accommodations. Please reach out if you have any leads on long-term rentals. Ideally, they are looking for a two-bedroom plus den apartment, but would consider a two-bedroom.

We are also collecting items to help re-stock what they lost. Please reach out to me and I will work with Allison so that we don't all donate the same things. Donations being collected include:

1) Kitchen supplies: dinnerware, utensils, post & pans, the works!

2) Toiletries and cleaning supplies

3) Clothing and shoes for a 16 year old boy

4) Clothing and shoes for a 9 year old girl

5) Clothing and shoes for Allison

6) Linens

7) Furniture

8) Technology

9) Books and stationery

Lightly used items are welcome! Smaller items can be dropped off at Legacy Greens during store hours.
