Sister shot in face/ former boyfriend

My sister is 23 years old and was shot in the face November 30th by her boyfriend. She has been quite the fighter, she finally opened her left eye and is able to blink twice for yes and squeeze our hand with her right hand. She will get transported to a hopitial in Portland, OR that specializes in brain injuries and rehabilitation. This is roughly 3 hours from home and my parents need help with expenses for medical, food and gas so one of them can stay with her for support.
