Funeral Cost,Travel & Stability Support

Thursday evening Ayanna's father passed away tragically & unexpectedly. After years of disconnect, we recently rekindled our contact on Dec. 24th. Ayanna was very grateful to have access to a dad she so longed to know. He made great efforts to work on himself and be 100% available to the best of his ability. Just as we were feeling the joy of his return into our lives and the hope for what the future could be, he was taken forever. I honestly cannot express the pain and helpless I feel as a mother with two fatherless children. The best I can do is keep lifting my chin to the light and striving to help my 2 beautiful children do the same. I am asking for your help so we can take the time off of work & school to be home together through this delicate time of inital grief, to get her some much needed counseling, to contribute to his cremation and funeral expenses and to afford the trip up to Washington to be with her father's family, many of whom Ayanna has yet to meet for the first time.
