Road to Recovery

Hi Everyone,

We made this GoFund page on behalf of our nephew/cousin/father/brother/son Enrique Marquez (Kike), he was in a major car accident on his birthday May 2022. On the way home from hanging out with friends, the driver lost control of his car and rolled it into a near by field. Kike was ejected from the car and suffered major injuries. He had to be medi flighted from the scene. He’s already had surgery, open reduction internal fixation of the hip due to fractured femur, fractured hip and pelvis. 5 broken ribs, a hematoma on his left lung and a minor compression fracture of L4 in his spine.

Due to this life changing event, he did end up losing his job and where he was living at the time. We predict that he will be needing help for the next 6 months or more. He will be transferred into rehab center where he will have to stay for at least 6 to 8 weeks to learn how to walk and get his muscles back in place. Any money raised will be used to help him get on his feet and hopefully a new apartment. Thank you so much for your time, love and prayers. Absolutely anything helps.
