Lungs for LariAnn
Donation protected
Hello Everyone! Its me Kathie, and I am asking for your help for my dear friend LariAnn.
LariAnn is a very friendly outgoing person, with a good heart, & she has a very quick wit (thats why we get along so well) LOL. She is a mother of 2 and a grandma also. She loves to laugh but unfortulately it is an effort for her to even talk without gasping for breath on every word!
This is my dearest friend, and she has been diagnosed with Bronchiectasis and is in need of a double lung transplant!. She has been unable to work for over a year now, and was told she would have to raise $30,000.00 for the related expenses such as traveling, a month stay at a Isolation respite near Mass.Gen. after a month stay in Hospital and medicenes related to the transplant. LariAnn has been my friend for 28 years now and we are like sisters. This is a rare disease and little is known what causes it, they just told her, her lung capacity level is at 38%. Just 2 months ago she was at 61%. This disease can turn downhill very rapidly. We have been going back and forth to Mass. General in Boston for tests and more tests. It is a big emotional strain and financial drain also, so I thought that this was a way to help relieve some burden by starting up this site for her.
Anything you could possibly donate would greatly be appreicated.
Thanks so much,
Kathie
