Veteran Soldier in need

Today I went to the VA hospital and was informed that I’ll be needing a surgery on my elbow, and I’d be out of work for 6 weeks. Now I’m stuck on deciding rather to have the surgery and be out of work without pay and possibly lose everything I own. Or continue to work but be in pain. I’m having a hard time deciding what to do cause my injury directly affects my work as a semi truck driver, and would potentially cause me to get let go if I’m unable to do my job correctly. I’m desperately in need of some help financially. I’m needing help paying my rent, car payment, food, pet food, utilities, and a loan payment.
