Help Dawn Have Housing Over Winter

When life brings unexpectedly tough moments, we look to our community for help. I'm writing today about my friend Dawn who was unfortunately dealt several bad hands in the last years and is currently struggling to stay afloat with monthly bills.

Besides dealing with and overcoming cancer in the last few years, Dawn lost her mom and then her house they used to live in only a year ago. Since then, her whole life has shifted.

Dawn has remained positive through it all, while also concentrating on being a caretaker for her two kitties.

I met Dawn during a summer job many years ago and I know her impeccable work ethics and dedication. Dawn has worked multiple positions in the last year and is awaiting Fall to resume her Substitute position as well. However, with all the recent changes with her life, health, and jobs, Dawn is now unable to cover rent for the next few months until School starts. She is weeks away from having to move into her car and have to surrender her two cats.

I'm starting this fundraiser to help Dawn in her time of need, and the funds will help her cover her bills at her current place for 3 more months. That will give her the chance to look for an alternative place and also for school to start and thus provide her with some income.
