Help Tony & Chloe fight Colon Cancer FAP
Donation protected
Where do I begin? In 2002, just shorty after getting married Tony was diagnosed with a rare hereditary colon cancer syndrome called Familial Polyposis. His mom had been recently diagnosed with rectal cancer and her doctor advised that all of her children get checked. Shorty after diagnosis Tony had surgery to remove his colon which was riddled with polyps. In the years since he has had countless surgeries, tests and procedures to keep the cancer at bay. During one of the tests last week it was discovered that there is a strong possibility that Tony now has metastatic cancer in his bones. He has more tests tomorrow and next week the tumor board at Moffitt will meet to discuss his treatment plan.
We have over 200k in medical debt from the 20 years of fighting this disease but Moffitt Cancer Center has never harassed us for money. We lost our 1st house to this disease and we also lost a car. FAP has destroyed any sense of normalcy and stability in our lives. In addition to all that our youngest daughter Chloe has the same disease and already has polyps in her colon and stomach. She also endures many treatments, tests and surgeries, including a surgery coming up on July 9th at All Children's Hospital.
In my 20 years of dealing with this disease and being Tony's primary caregiver I have never asked for money from anyone. We've been trying to fight alone and we can't do it anymore. I work full time but I am now having to take time off to take care of Tony. If you can donate please do. If you can't please just pray for us.
Tony is an amazing father and husband. He deserves nothing more than to not have worry about finances right now. We had to take a payday loan today to cover medical expenses this week and that was really hard for him.
Thank you for all your love and prayers.
