LMSA Medical Mission Trip
Donation protected
Dear Potential Donor,
Thank you for considering making a donation to the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) Medical Mission Trip! We would like to take this opportunity to inform you about our organization, so that you know how your contribution will help us achieve our goals.
LMSA is a University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine student run organization founded to promote the improvement of healthcare for underprivileged and underserved communities. On October 5th-10th, 2014 we will be traveling to medically underserved communities in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Our multidisciplinary team will then provide acute medical care, health education and preventative medicine to patients who may have never been seen by a physician in their lifetime.
In our efforts to provide for these patients, we are collecting toiletries, medicine and supplies and hosting multiple fundraiding events to help us obtain high-demand items. We are still however, in much need of monetary donations which will allow us to take care of the over 900 patients we will see for the duration of the trip. Any small contribution will have a large impact for those who need it most and allow us to change the lifes of many. We truly appreciate the support and are excited to share our experiences with you! If you have any further questions or wish to donate supplies/medicines please feel free to contact us!
Our most sincere thanks,
