Mikaela and other Lake Louise Residents

I am talking to you today with a heavy heart to share a heartbreaking situation that has unfolded in my family. On Monday, July 3 a devastating fire completely destroyed my older sister's home, a residence in Lake Louise that housed over 150 people that now don’t have a place to live. In this time of immense need, we humbly seek your support and generosity to help them rebuild their lives.

My older sister, Mikaela has always been there for my family no matter what. However, an unforeseen tragedy has turned her world upside down. The fire not only claimed their home but also destroyed their belongings, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. My sister lost so many different things from a camera and a computer, to sentimental things such as a blanket my passed grandmother gave her and a stuffed dog my mother had as a child. The emotional toll of this loss is immeasurable, and she is now facing a new challenge of finding a new home, figuring out how to replace all those belongings, and even just acquiring some form of ID because her passport, her driver's license, and her health card were all lost in the fire. We are reaching out desperately seeking your support in raising funds to provide my sister and other people that were in this residence with some money for basics(toothbrush, toothpaste, underwear, socks) and to replace everything they lost.
