Moreton Island Hunt 4 Chris Speidel lost left leg

My brother, mate, best mate, son, grandson, cousin, nephew, and most importantly husband and father. Chris Speidel has lost his leg in a horrible work accident while living in Germany with his wife and two young children. On the afternoon of the 19th of January, 2023, 5 minutes before knocking off from work, his leg become trapped in a logging machine when it was prematurely switched on. His boot was taken into the machine along with his foot, ripping it off. He was taken to hospital where he later had an operation to take his leg up above his chin. Can you imagine, at 32 years young. Chris has shown unbelievable strength, With his courageous and positive attitude during this horrific time.

Myself, Anthony and our good friends Joel and Ellen Walker have decided to create a walking fundraiser to raise funds to deliver to chris and his family to assist him in his new journey in life.

The last place I got to take him in australia before he left was Kooringal, Moreton Island. To raise funds for him to help support him in the future or help make his life a little bit more comfortable, We are going to walk 38km of sand from the township of Kooringal to the top of Cape Moreton

This will take place on May the 6th, 2023. With help of friends, support vehicles, housing donations and donators, help us complete this mission and get the funds to Chris and his family
