<div>A tragedy occurred for my family in Zambia - Mumbwa

<div>In the third week of Advent, a truck tragically came to a halt in the Samboko family's kitchen.
</div>
<div>The brakes were not engaged on the slope and so the truck rolled downhill without a driver into their house. The family's grandmother, who was taking a nap on her couch in the kitchen at the time, fortunately only suffered minor injuries to her face. It could have ended much worse! However, the material damage is very high: the kitchen and living room, including the inventory and the food supplies have been

<div>The family is currently cooking outside on an open fire, which is a very difficult task during the rainy season, further making day to day life extremely difficult.

<div>In order to enable the Samboko family to regain a normal life as quickly as possible, I would like to appeal for help. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps. In addition to rebuilding the house, the family needs to buy a new stove, fridge, plates, pots an cutlery among many other kitchen and household utensils. <div>Eine Tragödie ereignete sich für meine Gastfamilie in Sambia – Mumbwa. In der dritten Adventswoche kam auf tragische Weise ein LKW in der Wohnküche der Familie Samboko zum Stehen. Am Hang war die Bremse nicht eingelegt und so nahm der LKW die führerlose Fahrt bergabwärts auf. Die Großmutter der Familie, die zu diesem Zeitpunkt in der Wohnküche auf einem Stuhl ihr Pausen-Nickerchen hielt, erlitt glücklicherweise nur leichte Verletzungen im Gesicht. Es hätte viel schlimmer Enden können! Doch der Sachschaden ist sehr hoch: die Wohnküche samt Inventar und die Lebensmittelvorräte sind zerstört. Derzeit kocht die Familie im Freien, was jetzt zur Regenzeit ein sehr schwieriges Unterfangen ist und das Leben äußerst erschwert. Um der Familie Samboko so schnell wie möglich ein normales Leben ermöglichen zu können, möchte ich zu einer Hilfsaktion aufrufen. Jeder Beitrag, sei er noch so klein, hilft. Neben dem Hausaufbau muss die Familie sich einen neuen Herd, Kühlschrank sowie Teller und Töpfe neu anschaffen. Zudem ist der Großvater an Krebs erkrankt, alleine dies strapaziert die Familie finanziell immens, als wäre dies nicht schlimm genug, rast auch noch ein LKW in die Küche!
