A Hand Up for The Brown Family

Hello World ❤️ I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my retired great Aunt Eva and Uncle Thomas, along with their daughter, Tamika, and two granddaughters, Jayla and Kennadie.

On the evening of December 26, 2022, their home caught fire due to an overloaded electrical outlet, and it has since been declared a total loss. By the grace of God, they were able to escape the fire with the help of a close family friend and neighbor, Tommy Armstrong, Jr. However, the aftermath led to hospitalizations from burns, smoke inhalation, and other injuries that accrued whilst trying to escape. Tamika is currently being treated for her injuries in the ICU in Gulfport, MS. Meanwhile, her youngest daughter, Jayla, was relocated to the Children's Hospital of New Orleans where she is awaiting surgery. Even so, both are in stable condition and on the mend.

If you have the space to give, we are asking for donations to assist Thomas, Eva, Tamika, Jayla, and Kennadie with hospital bills, interim lodging, clothing, school supplies, and more.
