A helping hand for Team Floriole

Donation protected
Floriole, like many other businesses in the food and beverage industry made the very difficult decision to cease operation on Wednesday due to the threat of COVID-19. More than 30 team members are now left without employment.

Employees will be paid for all time worked and any PTO in the next pay period. While all team members are encouraged to apply for unemployment benefits, they will only be given up to 47% of their current pay.

We are estimating that Floriole will be closed for about 4-6 weeks. Raising 30K will allow each employee an extra $250/week for 4 weeks. With the addition of other fundraising efforts, we hope to have funds for up to 6 weeks.

It's a crazy time and we know that everyone is not able to donate. What we want EVERYONE to do is contact their senators, representatives and local politicians and demand that independent businesses are part of the federal stimulus plan.  You can be connected to the capitol switchboard at ‪202-224-3121‬.

We want to begin distributing funds by April 6th so that the team does not experience any lapse in pay.
