A New Roof For Tim's Family

This is embarrassing to us, but we are in need of help and this is the only way I can think of to raise money.
Our house was built in 1962. The roof is old and needs to be replaced. It is rotting in places, and it leaks. We have black mold on our ceiling. We won't know how bad the black mold is under the roof until we pull off the shingles. It could double the cost.
We have tried to patch the leak, but it keeps coming back. The black mold is spreading and it is affecting our health.
I have had roofers come out to give me estimates. Not including removing the black mold, a new roof will cost from $12,500 to as much as $23,000.
I have talked to my insurance company, and they will not cover anything. The problem isn't due to a hail storm or anything like that. It's just old, and we get rain in Oregon 300 days a year.
I support my wife and I with my monthly Social Security Check ($877) and my wife's monthly disability check ($100). We depend on food stamps and food pantries, and we struggle to pay our bills.
We do not have any way of paying for a new roof and having black mold removed. I have checked all over, and I have not found any city, county, state or federal program that can help with replacing our roof. Our local Habitat for Humanity is closed indefinitely because of COVID.
Lastly, neither my wife nor I are physically capable of doing this kind of work.
What I am asking is for you to donate what you can. ANYthing helps. $5, $10, $20. This is really embarrassing. I know there are people hurting everywhere. But if all of my followers pitched in a little, we could reach our goal quickly and get the black mold removed and a new roof on our house.
